Despark was established in 15 September 2005, started as Academy in Bukit Raja, Klang Selangor. Despark Auto Academy was accredited by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran(JPK) to conduct the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Program under Automotive Technician Level 1 and Motor Vehicle Technician Level 2. At the same time Despark Auto Academy also get accredited by City and Guilds (C&G), United Kingdom to conduct the International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Program under Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Advanced Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Despark was expanded in Bachang, Malacca on July 2006, Georgetown, Penang on August 2007. The success of Despark led to its establishing branch campuses in Malaysia with a total investment of RM 4 million, and realizing its vision to be the largest private institution of Automotive Engineering in Malaysia.

The number of students grew and by November 2009 the Klang campus was relocated to the present main campus in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

With the experiences and professional of Despark to conduct the International Automotive Engineering Program, Despark College (B4P8119) has been accredited by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to conduct the Diploma in Automotive Engineering Technology (DAET) program on September 2012.

By 2014, Despark is one of the aviation college in Malaysia that provides Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (N/525/4/0052) to fulfill the increasing demands of Aviation industries. Despark’s Diploma in Business Management is catered for those who is seeking for an alternative.

Despark also collaborates with Pearson, the world’s leading education company, offering the internationally recognised Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma courses.

Despark College continues to strive to be the hub of engineering education center that provide Diploma in Aircraft Engineering, Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology that catered for student needs .
