    Our Diploma Programme is a 2.5 years full-time course that prepare you to be proficient in industry training, practical training and theory training. Learn to keep pace with the advances in automotive technology and be able to partake in a focus of hands-on training to lead students to be adept in skills and up-to-date in the technology advancement. It focuses on designing new vehicles or finding ways to improve the current machine technology and systems. This course offers  extensive coverage of both technological and managerial aspects of automotive engineering which well prepared students in future career.

    Due to the increasing reliance on various modes of automotive transportation for business and everyday operations across the globe, there’s generally a thriving job market for those with experience in this field. Graduates of automotive engineering will find that there are many career opportunities available to them. You might choose to work directly within the field, as a graduate engineer, manufacturing and design or automotive engineer. These roles could be with automotive companies, or with other engineering companies.

    • SPM minimum of 3 credits with a pass in English, BM and History – including a credit in Mathematics and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject.
    • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 with min 1 credit in SPM and 1 year working experience in automotive industry.
    • O-Level with min 3 credits including Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass English.
    • UEC Grad B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass English.
    • Pass STPM or equivalent with a Pass in Mathematics, English and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject at SPM level.
    • Other Qualifications: Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

    Note: The completion of a programme at Despark College does not give the student an automatic admission to a higher level programme. Admission is determined by the student’s results, and the fulfilment of the conditions and the entry requirements stipulated by the University.
